We've been dating for a while and we have an amazing relationship. He gets stationed in Italy at the end of summer and i'll be staying in CO to finish my school which i'll graduate next december. My advice ... don't hint at it. Leave it alone it's a decision he's going to come to and it spoils their fun if you hint at it or eventually badger it out of them. its a little kid syndrome that men have they want to do something but the moment you hint at it or tell them about it ... now they have to wait cause they don't want you to think they only did it cause you mentioned it.
Imagine a little boy wanting to clean his room up. The moment his mother tells him to do it, then he doesn't want to any more.
Just sit back and relax. It'll happen in its own due course. If you're ready to be engaged he already knows
