If you can't find the batteries you need in a general store, there are at least two camera/electronics stores on Corso Buenos Aires, towards the northern end.
You can walk there from the central station - if you turn right upon exiting the main facade of the station, then right again when you get to "Lima" metro, you're on the Corso Buenos Aires. One of the shops is called Euronics and is general electronics, the other is a little further on and camera specific.

"one of the main reasons why i loved this city so much is because it was sparsely populated back in the late 80s.
The city was at the beginning of its economic success at that time and there were many immigrants coming to settle in from other cities. At that time i lived in my father's house and our quarters was overlaid with beautiful gardens and fruit trees. There was a lot of wildlife with rare
animals and sometimes even dangerous ones. But all the same it was really beautiful and quiet. The air was always fresh and clean.
We also had neighbours where we lived. Our neighbours house was owned by a very fat man who worked in an oil compnay just like my father. He was a good friend of my father and never seem to notice
the affairs of his children at all. He had three daughters and i fancied his second daughter the most, because she was very pretty.
I remember when we first moved there i was very young (about 9 or 10 years old) and when i first saw the girls they would invite me
to go and play a game with them but i was often too shy. They also had a very ferocious dog that always attacked anyone who went close to their house so that also kept me away from them for a while,
but later i felt more courageous and developed a close friendship with the second daughter whom i fancied. she was interested in me just like i was in her. And most of the time her other two sisters were away so i could feel free.
Sometimes we will go out to the town center where there was a fair with our bikes. We will buy some icecream and get on the rollercoasters at the fair in the city center and then when we are tired we will come back home.
At home we will play in the gardens and with animals around our house. We would climb they fruit tress and eat the fruits from them.
We will sometimes try to do some drawings because we both fancied art and we were both artists.
Unfortunately a time came when my father had to move to another city for Job reasons. And i had to leave with my family
and since then i have always wanted to return there....
Concluding i will like to say that apart from the wildlife and green that this city posessed, It was sparsely populated at that time and i loved it for that.
Recently as i have heard, a lot of immigrants have moved to this city and i haven't returend there for the past 15 years and wonder if it is still the same.
Finally this city gives me a really romantic impression about it from my youth experiences."

There are NO ferries that cross the Atlantic Ocean! You will have to send a camper by cargo ship. If your plan is for a visit, or even if you are immigrating to the US, it would probably be easier and less expensive to sell the camper in Italy and rent or buy another in the US. Of course, if your camper is actually one of those $100,000 to $1,000,000 homes on wheels, a cargo ship would be worth doing! I'm not sure who you contact and how you get cargo shipments arranged, but suspect that contacting any major cargo handler would be a way to begin. Best of luck!

I recently came back from a trip to Spain, I am a North Indian guy (India) who was born and raised in the US. For a while the people there mixed me up as one of their own, many would speak to me in Spanish and I would try my best to respond. Well just being in Spain I notice the heavy sense of nationalism there where often on commercials posted on buses it would say they only hire White Spaniards for jobs and what not.

I talked to some Spaniards and most of them openly said racist things about Blacks calling them inferior and one even told me that he thinks most Indians are inferior except for Northern ones who are blessed with Whiter skin.

Not to mention the fact that the fans make monkey noises during soccer matches whenever a Black player gets the ball, mainly Italian and Spanish fans do this and they throw bananas and peanuts at their Black soccer players.

I have rarely seen this type of out right racism in other European countries like Germany, England, Norway and Sweden but I saw it so much in Spain and Italy, why is that the case?

I think in general that place names are really good but some are over-used for instance Madison. However, I think Paris and Brooklyn are good but London I think is annoying name.

From Fiumicino there is a local bus to Ostia. From Roma Termini there is a train. Don't know about Torvaianica but it's near Ostia so I would think that there are also buses and trains to there. It's not too far from the airport so a cab wouldn't be out of the question.

My advice ... don't hint at it. i did both italy and turkey for a vacation once but i did fly-- it is cheap and i had limited time.

Wow, I'm bit surprised at some of the answers you've received. The way I see it is like this: you are being stationed in another country...there's nothing you can do about that! Military is military, and you don't have the option to not move!

These people are your family, and I'd hope that they'd be understanding enough to realize that you can make it to the first, but not the second...only because of your special circumstances. I mean, it's not like you're skipping out because of vacation, it's just that there's no bargaining with the military lifestyle!

My boyfriend well fiancee now took me away to the south of France last week and proposed to me during a very romantic meal by the sea. Now he had told his father, two brothers and my father (he asked my father if it was okay before hand.)
We have alot of family and some close friends which we want to tell altogether. We were planning on holding a party in the grounds of one of my fiancees friends house in Italy. We are willing to pay for half of their flights and have practically begged them to come. Everyone else has been fine about coming out and have arranged some time off for the 3 days (i am not even asking for long!)
What should we do? We both really want them to be there but aren't blowing the suprise by telling them just to make them come. It kinda defeats the point. I know you can do this by train, but it's a long trip. First, you need to take the shuttle from the airport to the Torino Porta Nuova train station http://www.aeroportoditorino.it/EN/aerop… and catch a bus to Chambery Challes Les Eaux leving Turin at 12:40 pm. From there you can take a train to Valence Tgv Rhone-Alpes Sud and change to a train to Gap. The trip takes about 8 hours. http://www.ferroviedellostato.it/homepag…

You could also go from the Torino Porta Susa train station via train to Chambery at 5:35 pm, change to a train to Grenoble and then a train to Gap.

Flying into Geneva would give you a slightly quicker trip and many more options for trains. There's also a train station at the Geneva airport. Grenoble is even better, it's only a little over 2 hours from there and you don't have to change trains.

Hopefully, someone will have better routing for you, but I would seriously be considering looking for a flight that puts you closer to Gap in the first place.

I got married in Arco Felice last August, had about 65 people (invited 80), and paid about 3500 euro 50 per person. We did a buffet at a place called Il Castello. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and said the food was good. We had a couple come to provide music, they sang a few songs a DJ was not an option. Not sure if they had one available, but my friend is a DJ and jumped in there for a bit. Overall, I'd recommend Il Castello. We also broke even on the cost of the reception and our honeymoon in gifts from friends and relatives! about 6000 euro all told!

It doesn't really work that way. What special qualifications do you have?

I moved to Italy from Colorado almost 12 years ago for my job now. You cannot just pick up and move to Europe or other countries from the US. In order to live and work legally here, you would first need a visa that allows you to do so and those are not easy to get. EU citizens have the right to live and work freely within the EU, others cannot automatically live and work here. The site for visas here in Italy is: http://www.esteri.it/visti/index_eng.asp . The site has links to the application, the additional information you need to supply in order to get the visa and where to apply. It also includes education visas which are somewhat easier to get than work visas and residential visas which would require you to show that you can support yourself without working. You need to apply for and receive the visa before you arrive.

Current economic conditions are not good. Unemployment is higher than in the US right now. This is not a good environment either economically or politically for hiring foreign employees.

A work permit is separate - you cannot apply for that yourself. The company has to apply and they have to be able to demonstrate that there is not a viable EU candidate for the job. As a result, jobs for foreigners including Canadian or US citizens are pretty much restricted to people with special education, knowledge, or experience ... and you would have to be able to speak the local language. Right now, the best bet would probably be something in the health care field. When I moved here, it was through a transfer of the job I was already doing in the US to the Italian office. Even so, it took 8 months to put all the paperwork in place to apply for a visa. This would be particularly difficult with only a high school education or limited college. You might look into an education program that could include a semester or year abroad where you could learn the language here and make contacts while in an education program. This would also allow time for the economy to improve and perhaps open up more jobs to foreigners.

I would strongly suggest Puglia, Sardinia, Piedmont or the Marche. The best time to visit is in spring or autumn . If you are going with kids Sardinia or Puglia are probably best. Tuscany is also great but very expensive and I find the people to be a little unfriendly though to be honest the longest single period I have spent in Tuscany is three months.

The best way to travel is to get a cheap flight as near as possible to the region you would like to visit. Rent a villa/apartment in the area and hire a car to explore. Don't try to see too much but rather explore your chosen region well . This is the only way to discover the real authentic Italy rather than the tourists Italy.You will find the people to be far friendlier, the food much tastier and the whole experience far more genuine.

At 18 you are an adult, but when the parents have taken a position that is completely opposite from yours, the control tripping can get extreme.

You need to bide your time and find out where the documents are stored, and quietly get them when you can.

Failing that, you can take what ID you have and go to the passport office with a fresh passport photo, and file for a replacement passport.
You can probably go to the courthouse and get an official state version of your birth certificate to take to the passport office.

Ok, so my year is going on a trip to italy in week and we havent yet sorted out with teachers etc what rooms wer staying in, but me and five other friends had decided amongst ourselves who will stay in a room together.

Listen, I'm a straight girl and I understand your fears. There is nothing more bothersome for straight people than to be called gay or lesbian. I understand the situation you are in and it must be uncomfortable for you.

I'm assuming you are in high school or at least in your teenage years. That explains the insecurity and viciousness coming from your fellow classmates. In high school, most of us are jerks. I have to say that I would be acting the same way or least condoning that behavior if I was that age. However, I'm 21 now and your classmates are a bunch of bitches.

This girl's sexuality does not make her a sex deviant. It does not mean she likes every girl she sees just like you don't like every man you see. She won't try and do anything inappropiate believe me she already feels self-conscious enough so she is going to be distant with girls at least for some time. If you are traveling to AMS Schipol then you should have more than enough time to shop duty free. Now are you talking traditional coffee shops or "coffee shops" (smoking coffee shops). If your talking "Coffee Shops" I'm not sure that they have any at the airport.

Although Amsterdam is pretty laid back, due to the recent bomb scare, security is a little tighter. You may want to see about renewing your visa.

AMS Schipol Airport is also a train station so there are plenty of things to do in the airport. Unlike other airports, you don't go through security until you are about to board the plane...which is pretty nice.

What's it like to live in another (European) country?

I'm a Loughborough university chemical engineering student, and I've been thinking very seriously about going to live in a few eastern European countries as part of my course next year. I'm allowed a 4 month period to go anywhere that will take me for a research project.

I think I've done enough research now that I know what I'm getting into with Europe on the whole (maybe not feel free to correct me) and I'm looking at going to either Italy, Austria or Germany, and mainly around Austria (I'd like to go skiing while I'm there, but that's not a requirement)

My current list of possibles is

Tourin-Italy
Vienna-Austria
Munich-Germany
Salzburg-Austria

I know very little about what would help me decide between these places as to me they are all fairly close, Vienna because I'm told its a great place to go, and then the others because they're near ski resorts.

I would also appreciate suggestions about other places if anyone has any?

No, you don't need to validate the pass again. It costs more to use a Eurail pass here than to just buy individual tickets. However, if you already have the pass, you may as well use it. For the fast trains, you will have to pay 10 euro for a seat reservation when you use the pass. The few remaining Intercity trains charge 3 euro for a reservation, but the reservation is not normally mandatory on those trains. Regional trains do not take reservations - you can just hop on with the pass. Italy is one of the few places where you can book a seat reservation on-line without paying the basic ticket price - select the global pass fare type from the pull down menu. You can also but the reservation from a ticket machine in the larger stations or at a ticket window.

If you do take a fast train, make sure you have the reservation before you get on the train. There is a substantial fine for not doing this.

I love music ,it’s the best thing that makes me feel better. In particular, I’m not very keen on Italian songs because they are quite all pop music that I don’t like, even if I’ve heard some nice song. Especially they are quite always about love, getting at the point of trivialization it. If they renewed the themes, I’m absolutely convinced that I’d listen to their more willingly.
In spite of the Italians TV might and should offer a wide variety of music, they go on to transmit the same kind of music, so I’ve always been in search of new musical band that I may like that, surfing the internet or listening to the radio.
Once I was impressed of a interesting song where music and singer’s voice were raw and heavy, I really liked it.
As I wasn’t coulding understand well the words, I couldn’t find it until when I casually downloaded the Korn’s discography and I found that song called “freak on a leash”.
So I found out information about Korn’s history. They are the founder of a kind of metal called “nu-metal” which’s an alternative metal not very heavy but it’s raw and aggressive, proper for themes that Korn deal.
Generally metal, mainly in Italy, is less valued, maybe because it may seem strange, and it’s definite only noisy, but I think a person ought to be inquire better before to talk, then It may also to like.
The lineup of band, the formation of band is a bit changed during the years.

I love music, it’s just the best thing and makes me feel better. However, I’m not very keen on Italian songs because they are pretty much all pop music that I don’t like, even though I’ve heard a few nice songs. In particular, they are nearly always about love, to the point where they trivialise it. If they were more original, I’m sure I’d enjoy listening to them more.

Although Italian TV could and should offer a wider variety of music, they keep on showing the same old thing, so I’m always in search of new bands that I might like by surfing the internet or listening to the radio.

One time I was struck by an interesting song where the music and the singer’s voice were raw and heavy, and I really liked it. As I couldn’t understand the words very well, I couldn’t find it until I casually downloaded Korn’s discography and then I found the song was called “freak on a leash”.

So I found out about Korn’s history. They are the founder of a kind of metal called “nu-metal” which is an alternative and not very heavy metal, but it’s raw and aggressive, and appropriate for the themes that Korn deal with.

On the whole Italian metal isn’t very popular, maybe because it seems strange and noisy, but I think a person ought to listen more closely before forming an opinion, and they may then grow to like it.

The line up of the band has changed somewhat over the years. To start with they had David Silvera on drums, Brian Welch and James Shaffer were the main guitarists, with Reginald Arvizu on bass. Then they found Jonathan Davis and formed Korn.

Welch abandoned the band for religious reasons and because he didn’t want his daughter to listen to and copy some of the more vulgar verses of their songs. Then in 2006 David Silveria took a break from working with the band.

Their songs are mainly about hate, anger, sadness and disappointment, which were all feelings that vocalist Jonathan Davis wanted to exorcise. In particular he sings about his childhood and life as a teenager. These were difficult times for him because he was sexually abused and his neighbour used to beat him. Even though he told his parents what was going on, they didn’t want to believe him and it was easier for them to believe he was lying.

Jon talks about this in several songs, the most expressive of which is certainly “Daddy”, which lasts about 10 minutes and has the singer crying at the end when he recalls those dreadful times.

It’s not obvious if the tears are real and it’s for the individual listener to decide, but if you want to capture the essence of Korn’s music, you should listen to that song, as it may touch you. If I could, I’d play this song to all rapists while they were in the prison, because they might then understand the enormity of what they have done.

Well some of you Barca fan finally see the real Ibra, he is doing so well at Milan right now, I mean have you guys seen all of his previous games? Against Fiorentina, Inter, Sampdoria, Lazio, and Brescia? I have noticed alot of people said Villa is much better than Ibra, but most people don't realize that Ibra just got transferred to La Liga from Serie A, there is no way he can adapt to Barcelona's way of playing, on the other side Villa has been playing for Valencia almost his entire life and he has faced Barca and Madrid various of times, I'm guess he should do better than Ibra. Although watching Villa's previous games like against Madrid does impressed me, but I still Ibra is better. I mean how is Ibra going to play for Barca? When he at Inter he has done everything by himself, and Milito wasn't even on the field due to Mourinho's tatic. People said Eto'o is better than Ibra because once he got transferred to Inter, Inter won the Champion League, most people don't realize that it was because of Sneijder and Milito. If Eto'o was there to play like how Ibra was to play for Inter, I doubt that he would have done better than Ibra. Rooney doesn't do much at United right now, as well as Berbatov and Chicharito. Torres on the other hand is always injured at Liverpool, and I haven't heard anything from Drogba in a while,that probably the reason why Chelsea has been losing most of their games, Van Persie and Arshavin doesn't impress me a bit even since they started playing for Arsenal, and it's not because they always get injured.Don't take me wrong but have you guys seen all the goals that Zlatan has accomplished in the past? I'm going to Italy in about two weeks and our group will be flying Delta. I've only flown American and I enjoyed it. However, I have heard mixed reviews for Delta. Some say it's mediocre and others say it's downright cheap! What are y'alls opinions on this airline?

Also, we'll be flying from Orlando to Cincinatti before heading off to Roma. Have any of you been to Cincinatti's airport? I've flown out of Orlando before (to O'Hare in Chicago), but when my group heard that we were going to Cincinatti, everyone groaned! Is there a reason, or were they just disappointed because they couldn't fly out of JFK or Newark?

So, any info on Delta and Cincinatti's airport would be greatly appreciated! I've gone to both websites, but since they are partial to their own company (obviously), it wasn't much help.

I wish I could give you glowing reports regarding Delta, but I've found them to be one of the worst airlines on nearly every point. They also have some of the most uncomfortable coach class cabins. Attached is a couple of airline rating reports

I don't know what the problem is with Cincinnati's airport, other than it's not New York. The best thing about it is that it had the 2nd best on-time percentage (82.65%) in the nation in 2005. By contrast, JFK was only 70.12% I'm sure the reason you're landing their is because it's a hub for Delta. But it's a little out of the way considering your destination.

I used to go everyday, then it started when I was twelve and we moved from Italy to Canada.. I'm now fifteen..
Then my grandmama would make me stay home and watch her dogs, and at the time I thought it was awesome and she'd buy me candy, etc...

Three years later, its become a habbit. I was also officially diagnosed with depression as of this March... I failed Math and Science and I'm failing my classes this symester too... I don't know what to do. My parents just yell at me.. /:

The main reasons I skip school is because I wake up, and just feel ugly, and want to die...So I sleep the entire day (I sleep about fifteen hours) and then later just cry until my parents come home. Then I just show pretend to be happy when my family is home.

I don't know how to break this habbit. Its alot easier said than done...

Well, if you don't mind, I'd like to start out by assuming you aren't happy with your current situation. Life is difficult for you, therefore you have no motivation to get up in the morning. Nothing compels you to go back to that (if you'll pardon my language,) Hellhouse. There is nothing there for you. You are trapped.

But in your dreams you are free. Nothing can touch you. Nothing can hurt you. Nobody cares what you look like or how you talk. And if something horrible happens to you in your dreams, you can just open your eyes. Nobody will know, and you won't have to learn to live with something you said or did.

I know how you feel

This is what I do. Although I personally, prefer the kind of audible silence and solitude of a forest or under a weeping willow, where nobody can see you or bother you and everything around you is green and brown, with the occasional flashes of blue, red, or yellow as some beautiful bird flies by, I do find a kind of peace in the chaos of a large crowd. By simply sitting in a woods, listening to the brids and thinking, I've learned how to pull into myself. Control my emotions and only show certain ones when I want and where. Almost like a turtle in a shell, only that mine can't be penetrated.

I have my group of friends that I can relate to, and sure there's my crush, who does give me some small reason to go to school, but they just aren't enough. Part of me makes me go because I know I need to, but more than that, I am an artist at heart. My parents, brothers, and friends don't appreciate my art. Apparently dragons, fairies, charcoal drawings of forests and Paris at night, abstract sketches... unless they win awards or include (for my brothers) guns and explosions, they're just "cute." and I should "Go hang them in your room with your other doodles." So in the mornings, I go to my art teacher's classroom and work on my art projects. I pour out my heart and soul into those projects, and through them I can release my anger, anxiety and frustration. Slow, gentle strokes for when I'm tired. Sharp, hard lines when I'm alert. Mixes of colors, ideas and shapes. It all comes together to create an art peice that captures an emotion and portrays it for others to see. That's how I get recognition for my art. I like to feel like I've done well. Like I'm important, and my art teachers and my peers make that possible for me.

On the other hand, I also do that through theatre. It gives me a chance to be dramatic and emotional and nobody sees it as bad, but instead as good. But then again, I hate to feel like I'm not good enough. I constantly push myself to excell, to move up. I do this best through Theatre, Art, and my grades. I feel like I at least need to be good at something, so that people will see me for my talent and not my looks. I pay more attention to how I feel about myself and my talents than I do how other people think. It helps me not feel self-concious.

As for your grandma, I'd have to disagree with the previous comment. There needs be no granny-bashing here. You said she had you stay home when you first moved to Canada? I think watching her dogs was just an excuse. I think she probably had you stay home so much so you could ease into that transition from one country to another. She was probably thinking that spending less time in such a foriegn environment like school so early on would stress you too much, and in that respect, she was probably right.

Unfortunately, she probably didn't consider that, at 12, you still had an easily impressionable subconcious. By letting you stay home so often, and because you were probably nervous to go to school anyway, she established school as a negative thing in your mind, and sleep and home as a positive thing. Over time, that idea became stronger, and now it's a habit that will be difficult to break unless you can find something in school that you are willing to get out of bed for. Forcing youself will break the habit, but it will take longer and be far more stressful for you. I suggest you make youself go for ONE WEEK ONLY. If you can't find ANYTHING in that one week that would make you want to be at school, then you'll have a lot more trouble adjusting. It'll take about 4 weeks for you to break the habit if you go to school EVERY DAY. Bring a good book too. It'll help draw attention off of you if you read a lot.

I am a 60 year old female, Single now and will probably take a tour. I'm not the adventuous backpacking type, but I do want to get the best bang for my buck. A week is not much time in Europe, if you can try to arrange more time there.

I've never traveled as part of a tour, but from the people I've talked to the costs are much higher than going solo, and you don't get to see as much. I met a group of Americans in Paris back in May. They were on a tour that rushed them from city to city, so they went a lot of places, but really saw nothing.

-Try traveling in the Spring before late April, you avoid the crowds, and the costs are generally lower.

-If you only have a week, consider spending the whole time in one place. This will be cheaper, and you will see a lot more. It takes at least a week to really see Amsterdam, Strasbourg, Berlin, etc. Paris really takes two weeks to see everything.

-If you are traveling alone, Eastern and Southern Europe are not the safest. They are fine if you have a companion.

-If you decide to be brave and skip the "packaged tour", don't be afraid to stay in hostels: they are generally safe, clean, economical, and you meet a lot of people. Most hostels cater to all ages, they are not just for students.

I live in northern Italy. In May, you shouldn't have much problem with weather. It's generally a good period to be out exploring. There aren't so many tourists on the roads as later in the summer.

A bigger issue than the weather is making sure you have the Austrian tax sticker for the car you'll be driving. you need this if you're going to be driving on the Autobahn in Austria - there's a substantial fine if you get caught on the Autobahn without it. You can get one at the border crossings in the gas stations and at many tabak shops in Austria.

Hey all, im goin to NYC this April 4th (yahoo! so soon) and am goin with a group from my college. But we're allowed to go out to the nightlife and enjoy some good beer and the people that go to clubs.

I've been there, but my pictures didn't turn out so well, and I've been unable to find any pictures on line or in libraries.
This Amazing cave is not preserved by thier government, isn't that just beyond odd?

Oh and Bosnia and Croatia are WONDERFUL (and affordable) vacation destinations. Croatia is right across the Adriatic from Italy and is just beautiful all year round (Summers are amazing).

I have been thinking about this for quite some time.
I decided I really wanted to go to Italy, so I started looking up Italian culture, weather, and climate. I pretty much love it... Until...
I read blogs from people from AFS (i think that would be the organization i would go through) and all of the blogs (except one, which just had pictures instead of words) talked about how miserable the school was. People say the teachers were strict, and interrogated the students! This really scared me, and now I'm not so sure if I should go. They also said how miserable the heat was, and the mosquito bites were. So, I was wondering if anyone who has either been to Italy as an exchange student, or just been there, could help me? I'm kind of afraid of Italy now and I don't think I want to go there as much... Does anyone have any suggestions of where else I could go? As of right now, I am pretty much open to anywhere.. Thank you so much!
(By the way... I am from the States, and I am in Spanish Two. I don't think I count as "two years" of Spanish under the language requirement, though, because I skipped Spanish One.. I have been to Chile, though?! I plan on going my Sophmore or Junior year, too)

Okay,i dreamed(about 5 months ago)that:

I was in a unknown city,it looked like Volterra(in Italy)and i was about 8 or 9 years old(im older now)and i was wondering around.Then I went to my house,where I lived with my Grandma and some of her cousins and my aunt.
Next,I went to some kind of hotel/bar/restaurant that instead of having a floor,it had water,like a pool,so people could walk in it.Next,i was sitting next to some guy who looked a LOT like Carlos Dengler(haha)but it wasn't him.So i talked to the guy(he was a waiter btw)and then he held my hand and KISSED ME!!!! :O then,i somehow,was traveling in a desert with a beautiful starry sky,and i knew that i was on the road to my city,then i woke up

The best way to recover them back is trying some photo recovery programs. A nice one is Asoftech Photo Recovery. This program can deep scan to find your lost photos first and then perform recovery with nice quality. But before your photos are recovered, please don't take more photos in case your lost photo data are overwritten.

Here is the steps you may refer while recover your photos from your camera memory card.

i live in america but i really want to attend college in either greece or italy. im 100% italian so italy is my first preference but i just love greece. Italy is the way to go. My older brother has been there many times, and he is almost finished with his semester abroad there. He speaks the language fluently (Italian is his major), but he told me that everyone speaks english anyway. Another great advantage in italy is their train system. Italy is an amazing country and there is so much culture and history everywhere, and he was able to travel allover quickly and affordably with the train. As for specific schools, I would talk to the italian professor at your school and see what they recommend. There are universities specifically for students studying abroad that speak english.
